If you have been shopping for a new massage chair, then I am sure you have seen the Osaki OS-7075R massage chair. It has quickly become one of the hottest massage chairs on the market. With the Osaki OS-7075R eye-catching design, deep tissue massage rollers, zero gravity design, heat, and a large range of features and massage programs to choose from. We finally had the chance to test out the Osaki OS-7075R for a day, so check out our overall thoughts below.
First Impressions of the Osaki OS-7075R
The look of the Osaki OS-7075R is what caught our attention at first. It has a very appealing design that looks even better in person. The Osaki OS-7075R is a little larger than most massage chairs, but it also packs a lot more features. The material is quite smooth, and the overall structure is very sturdy. The Osaki OS-7075R feels like a quality massage chair. Overall if you were to choose a massage chair just on looks alone, the Osaki OS-7075R would be one of our top choices.
Strong Massage Rollers – (Great for deep tissue massage)
If you are looking for a deep tissue massage, then the Osaki OS-7075R is for you. It has one of the strongest rollers we have ever experienced on a massage chair. With three levels of intensity, even the lowest setting is still very strong. The strength of the roller is very important when choosing a massage chair because not everyone is looking for a deep intense massage. For most people, the intense massage rollers are perfect. We personally love a deep massage like that of the Osaki OS-7075R, but for someone like my 85 years old grandma, the massage may be too intense. That being said, the Osaki OS-7075R is a great massage chair that gives one of the deepest most therapeutic massages on the market.
3D Roller Technology
The OS-7075R has one of the deepest massages on the market, and this is because of their 3D Roller technology. Most massage chairs have 2D rollers which only go up/down and side/side. The rollers on the Osaki OS-7075R go in/out as well, providing a very human-like massage. There is also a strength setting that allows you to adjust the strength of the rollers.
The Osaki OS-7075R has a 31” roller stroke. This is currently the longest roller stroke on any massage chair today. The Sanyo massage chairs are the only other ones that have a comparable roller stroke. This means that the massage rollers can massage a user from the neck to the top of the tailbone.
So why is the roller stroke important? This is because the longer the roller stroke the higher the rollers can go up and down your back. The rollers of the Osaki OS-7075R can literally touch your tailbone then go all the up to your neck and then even up to the top of your head. I am 6’ 2” and the rollers actually touched the back of my head. This is great because me being as tall as I usually have to slouch down a little in most massage chairs to get a good neck massage from the rollers This is definitely not an issue for this massage chair, and the impressive roller stroke and its ability to give a great neck massage is a great reason to buy an Osaki OS-7075R.
Zero Gravity Design (Weightless Position)
The Osaki OS-7075R also has zero gravity recline. This feature is becoming very popular in the massage chair industry. This is where the chair reclines about 170 degrees and the seat is inclined at 30 degrees. This will put your legs above your heart, putting you in an increased state of relaxation. The zero gravity position is great for low back pain sufferers. It distributes the weight more evenly across the back, which puts less stress on your lower back.
If you are looking for a massage chair with a great stretching program, then the Osaki OS-7075R is a great choice. It features a Thai stretching program that delivers one of the best stretches I have ever received from a massage chair. The Osaki OS-7075R also features a unique shoulder airbags that angle in front of your shoulder and compress to hold your body in place. Once the stretching program is initiated the ottoman and chair back will raise and lower to induce a milking motion for the soft tissue of the spine as well as the joints.
Head massage? Yes really! The Osaki OS-7075R has the first ever head massagers on any massage chair. We were really intrigued by this feature when we first saw it, so it was great to finally test it out. The head massage is basically a velcro band that wraps around your head (kind of like a helmet), and it rests on the top of the chair. The band is also adjustable, so it can fit multiple size heads. When the head massages start multiple airbags massage the forehead and temples. The massage is intense at first but then defaults to a lower pressure. This is a really cool added feature, and one that sets the OS-7075R apart from the competition.
The Osaki OS-7075R has one of the better airbag massages on the market. It’s powered by 46 airbags located throughout the chair. The airbags really compliment the mechanical massage rollers and deliver a nice massage from your shoulders down to your feet. The arm massage was the most notable because most massage chairs we have experienced just do a forearm massage. The Osaki OS-7075R does not only massage the arms but also your palms and fingers too.
In addition to the features, we listed above, the Osaki OS-7075R also has a pelvis and waist sway, full body infrared heat, unique shoulder massage, easy to use remote, as well as a large selection of manual and automatic massage programs. The OS-7075R also comes equipped with Foot Rollers, which are great to relieve sore and tense feet.
Summary – Osaki OS-7075R Review
Overall the Osaki OS-7075R is one of the best deals on the market. It has tons of features and sells at a more than reasonable price of $3,795. The Osaki OS-7075R also has one of the strongest massages on the market. So, if you are looking for a chair that is loaded with features, and has a great deep tissue massage, then the Osaki OS-7075R is definitely the massage chair for you.
